It wasn't a big affair (it's only a short film), and I was to only do makeup on one girl.
I (obviously) brought more than necessary, and I had the look already planned out, but I just chucked a bunch of other things in just in case.
Since the girl that I was doing makeup on was a thief who lived in the woods, I used a lot of muddy looking colors on her face (which you can somewhat see here) and had to create injuries on her face. I used lash glue, red and plum lipstick, and brown eyeshadow for them.

| I had to peel this one a bit because the white lash glue refused to turn red/purple. |
Some shots of the area:
There were only 6 people on set- 3 of them were actors, 2 of them were manning cameras/directing and then there's me- doing all of the moving and gathering props, helping the actors/actresses, retouching the (fake) injuries and all of that.
Speaking of injuries, I was stupid and wore shorts (I chose being scratched/bitten over being overheated) and got a lot of bug bites (that are the size of quarters right now), scratched by quite a few thorns, and also got hit by a flying (fake) machete that one of the actresses had to fling, and I happened to be standing at an appropriate spot (I have a bruise now).
But it was a very fun and memorable experience! And since Matt liked my help and work, I'll probably be back helping with his mini series of short films- this one is the first of the storyline.
Bye, going to go put Neosporin on my bug bites. ; ;
