Finally on winter break~

I'm leaving for Boston today! It's been.... 8-10 years since I last visited.

I will be staying in Boston for Christmas. I'll probably make a few posts up there if I feel like it (and if my fingers haven't froze off orz).

121215 Outing

Yesterday I went Christmas shopping with Matt. I hateeee malls at this time of the year, so crowded. x___x But other than the fact that, it was really fun!



We ate lunch at this Italian restaurant called Vapiano. You go and order what you want, and they put it onto this card which you take to the cashier when you finish.

The pizza we shared. It looks sorta gross and porous, but it was good.

After that, we went towards a bubble tea place that Matt had told me about. He never had bubble tea; so I forced told him to bring me there and got strawberry milky bubble tea for the both of us.


It looks like normal bubble tea, but it was a very bright (bordering obnoxious) pink color. It got very sweet towards the end, so I wasn't able to finish it. = = Pearls were very good imo, Matt couldn't chew them very well because he wasn't used to the pearls texture.

After that we just walked around and then went home.



Stockings I'm going to wear tomorrow. I am going to be an elf; there's a special event at school tomorrow.

Naked 2

After I finished my (scary) exam yesterday, I bought lunch and also bought some makeup (to be quite honest, I was more excited over lunch because I was starving- the last time I ate anything was 4am and it was about 1pm by then).

 Soooo pretty gah. ;A;
I loveee all the colors in this! Bootycall, YDK, and Blackout are my favorites so far. :3

 My wallet shed a tear, but it was worth it.

Out and about

Two of my friends, Matt and L, and I decided on a whim to go out on Wednesday.

The Good: it was so much fun The Bad: it really was on a whim, and so last minute that we were still sorting out details the night before at 10pm.

Met up at RTC with Matt at 10am and walked around with him for an hour before L came (we knew she would be late).

They already had their Christmas decorations up! Actually, they were putting them up as we were walking around lol. And setting the ice rink up as well. XD

While waiting for L I helped Matt pick a gift for his mother (you owe me $7.50 by the way). It was absolutely hilarious to see how awkward he was. (Please don't punch me ><)

L finally came, and we had lunch. Well, Matt and I ate, but L didn't because she had already eaten before she came.

We ate at Counter Burger, which is reaaally good.

Afterwards we watched Skyfall, which was pretty good if you like your movies to be 98% fighting and blowing shit up.

We wandered around for about an hour after that. L and I dragged Matt around to a bunch of girly stores (this is what you get agreeing to hang out with us!) and played around.

L was very nice and went into Victoria Secret (which I have an eternal fear of) with me so I could find a perfume that I have wanted to get for a long time.

It comes in a simple glass bottle and sadly, is called Pure Seduction (the person who named this must've been really lazy imo). I really like the scent though, so I'll put up with the try-hard name.



I'm not one for shopping when there's a lot of people around, so I didn't go out today. Did any of you guys go Black Friday shopping? :3

Asia Day 8: City Wall, Terracotta Soldiers, and Seahorses

Breakfast. It doesn't look like it, but the guy gave me a lotttt of scrambled eggs, I couldn't eat all of it lol. The watermelon was really good! (My stomach was being a little bitch, so watermelon was my best friend).

We went to the city wall, first.

And then we visited this... which I forget what it's called. I do remember that it is the ancient civilization from... 3,000 years ago I think.


Our guide then took us to see paintings that farmers from the area made. I loved them- they were bright and colorful.

     More paintings. These were my favorite.

 

After that, we went to the Terracotta Factory. This is the kiln.

Terracotta soldiers! I was so excited for this. When I was little I watched lots of documentaries of this.

     You can see that all of their faces are different. I have 904854385308 pictures from their, but I don't want to spam you guys lol.

     We had lunch at some place near there, and we saw this.

     It was very... interesting to see seahorses floating in a bottle.

     An amazing brownie I had somewhere. It was so good omfg.

Asia Day 7: Filler day

 Beijing is so pretty when it's sunny!

After 1 1/2 hours on a really bumpy airplane, we finally made it (in one piece) to Xi'An

 Ginormous chandelier

 The entire hotel had this oriental feel.

 Danie's bag's zipper broke

 The bathroom. Yes, there's a giant glass window that will show what you are doing. Luckily, there's a blind that you can use to close it.

 Cute chocolates! The yellow one (no it is not green, the lighting is just crappy) was really sour, but the chocolate one was really good.

 The food was in tiny dishes, which was really cute, but really... inconvenient.

Dead Danie.

We really spent that day getting through Beijing's security (that was a pain in the ass), being on the plane, and getting to the hotel (which seems like two hours away. I swear, it only takes like 20-30 minutes to get to airport at home). Most of my Asia posts are really just pictures right now (and probably will be) because I just take pictures mindlessly lol.
