March Favorites

Hi~
I meant to get this up on Thursday, but I fell asleep, and then Friday I gamed too much, but today I'm sick, but I pushed myself and finished this post ;~;

Swatches of everything at the end!

All of the products I've been liking for March :D

First product is this Neutrogena Healthy skin liquid makeup with SPF 20

I'm in the shade 40 nude. Well, was. I was looking in the mirror the other day and noticed
that my face was a lot darker than my neck. D: But I will finish this up, since there's not a lot left.

No pump, which is a con, but I'm used to no pumps since all of my recent foundations
don't have any pumps lol.

I really like this foundation, it's lightweight, it covers considerably well, and it has a nice finish.
I use a sponge, but a brush and your own fingers work as well. It is considerably pink, but the pink-ness isn't too bad. However, the shade is too dark for me now. My skin has been going everywhere nowadays due to the Virginia's forever-changing weather. It was really hot, and now it's cold, humid, then dry. So I've been oiling up and drying up (like right now), and yet this foundation still had the same nice consistent finish. (Which is semi-matte.) It probably suits quite a few skin types, has pretty nice coverage, feels light, and allows my skin to breathe. But I will not repurchase, because it's a bit too pink for my skin tone now.

Next favorite is Maybelline's mineral power concealer

I am in the shade cream light 4-5

Doe-foot applicator.

This is my HG concealer now, and I will repurchase, which is saying a lot since I almost never repurchase any make-up products, especially base make-up because they usually never reach the results I want. But this one does EVERYTHING I want from a concealer. It's cheap, covers all of my dark scars and dark circles, is long lasting, and it's been about 3-4 months, and I still have a pretty good amount of product (and I use a lot of concealer on a daily basis since I have a lot of freckles and dark scars). My allergies are really bad and I've had really little sleep, so my dark circles are really, really bad. This covers them really well, and doesn't cake. One dot is enough for a heavy acne scar. I've tried other concealers, but this is the one that covers them in one go.
It lasts pretty long too, even when my foundation doesn't.
It's hard to get a shade match, but this one works pretty well for my skin tone, and it's considerably yellow as well.
Love this concealer~

Next favorite is the Maybelline Eyestudio Luminizing Eyeshadow in 05 Caffeine Rush
(sorry for the blurry photo > <)

 Packaging is really pretty~

Shadows: top triangle is a glitter shadow, one right underneath it (darkest brown) is the liner shade,
triangle to the left (light copper brown) is the eyelid shade, right triangle (taupe-y brown) is the crease shade, and the bottom triangle (off-white) is the highlight shade.

I use the sponge applicator when I don't feel like taking out my brushes, or my (clean) fingers,
because I'm really lazy when it comes to using eye brushes most of the time.

I originally bought this for the glitter shadow, but then I found out that it's pretty gritty, and hard to work with. The purpose of the glitter is to put on top of the already considerably glittery shadows  and make your eyes look like disco balls (which I don't really like). So I abandoned the glitter shade, and just use the rest of the colors, which are pretty nice. I've always loved Maybelline's shadow textures, and this one is no exception (except for the glitter lol). All of the colors go well together, and have this nice satin finish, with tiny, very fine flecks of shimmer in some areas. I especially like the light brown and off-white. ^^ If you have a lot of neutral eye shadows, you definitely don't need this. I find myself reaching for this a lot since it is very cute and compact.

Next favorite is this Milani Baked blush in 05 Luminoso

I was looking for a light spring blush to warm up my dead-looking face (I start looking
like a zombie during spring time), and while I was looking at the different sections this caught my eye. The other Milani blushes looked quite dark and boring, but this one looked really pretty, so I just picked it up. It's supposed to be a dupe for Nar's Orgasm, but in opinion, this one is a lot prettier, and despite it looking like a pinky-peach, it swatches like a real peach blush on the hand (and on the cheeks it's absolutely gorgeous). Nar's Orgasm seems to be better for darker skin tones in my opinion, whereas this one is a better pink blush for lighter skin tones. It lasts about 5 hours on me (which is unheard of, blushes usually last for like half an hour before they're long gone), and makes me look like I'm not dead. A little goes a long way, and you can layer this to the intensity you want.

Next favorite is my Ekanava eyebrow pencil which I talked about in one of my other posts,
which you can find here.

Next favorite is Benefit's Benetint!

 Bottle

Applicator - Looks like a nail polish brush

I've been using it almost every single day that I wear make-up since I got it.
My lips are really aren't pigmented at all (unless I rub them a lot), so I end up looking even more dead and zombie-like. This helps give me long-lasting color to my lips. I've been digging the gradient lip as well, which is really nice and considerably easy and fast to do once you get the hang of it. Also, it is pretty expensive at $29, but one bottle will last you FOREVER. I've had this for about 8 months, and it looks like I've barely used it. You can also use this as a base for your blush, and it'll make your blush last for a really long time. I notice that as a cheek stain it doesn't last too long on me, but with a powder blush on top, the color on my cheek will last for 5-7 hours (which is super long for me).

Next favorite is Covergirl lashblast volume mascara (waterproof)

 Very black

wand
I do have very small asian lashes, but as for mascaras, I don't look for crazy length and volume (If I want that, I'll use false lashes). My lashes are considerably long, I have quite a few of them, but they're really thin and don't hold a curl. Also, I have a problem with mascaras smudging on me (even waterproof ones). This is my perfect mascara because it separates my lahses, doesn't smudge, is waterproof, adds volume without looking crazy, and doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing mascara (a.k.a. makes my eyes itchy).
Another plus is it's fun (it's bulky but I'm okay with it) bright orange packaging. Not to mention it's drugstore, so I don't have to spend $20+ on mascara.

Last favorite is Maybelline's Dream Matte Powder

I'm in the same shade as the concealer, Cream Light 4-5
It has this cool twist mechanism, a mirror (hidden underneath the bent puff) and a puff.

Close-up of powder
I don't know what to say other than it kept my oils at bay, (when my face was oily), and is a nice setting powder.

Swatches of everything~
