[on the job] it was her

13.07.19.

Yesterday, I was able to do the makeup of two lovely ladies that were actresses in my friend Matt's short film production. It was so much fun, and as always, I love seeing the final product come together. I didn't bring my digital camera to take pictures, but Matt was super nice enough to take pictures of their eye makeup for my blog (thank youuuu) with his super HD camera (cries ihu).

Megan's eye makeup - the goal was to make her look like a teenage girl (young, still somewhat rebellious), so I used quite a bit of dark blue eyeliner (not very apparent in real life), as it's not as harsh and threatening as black. I also see a lot of girls in my high school wearing lots of eyeliner, and they like to use different colors, hence the dark blue. I didn't use bright pink eyeliner or anything because the theme was slightly dark, any lol. (Naked palette, and Clinique quickliner intense in midnight)
Also, aren't her eyes gorgeous? x x

Lucia's eye makeup - I used the tape technique to create the sharp, clean edges. I used the L'oreal HIP duo in elctrified, and the matte black and the matte white in the Naked2 palette.

Here is the video, and I would (as would Matt) appreciate it greatly if you guys could watch it!

Note: It's been a long time since I blogged, hasn't it? ㅠ ㅠ I actually just got back from my Cali trip, and now school starts in three weeks. I hope to get in at least /one/ review or something before I disappear again.
